I’m pleased to announce that today I’ve joined TIG as Director of Virtualization, Server, and Storage Practice for the Eastern 1/2 of the US.  I’ve known of TIG for several years thanks to my good friend Larry Gross and have always admired them from afar.  I’ll report to Jacob Lee, the Vice President of Solutions who has a nice background in large growth service/solution provider companies.  TIG is an interesting combination of solution/service provider that scales beyond 24 worldwide locations but also has a real integrated, family feel.  They cover a wide variety of solutions with the highest levels of authorizations/certs and localize to each market with Branch Managers and field personnel.  TIG is lead by Bruce Geier who has an tremendous history of leadership from the ground up to build one of the most successful worldwide organizations in the solution provider space.  TIG is recognized by CRN as both SP500 and TechElite 250.

I’m all about growth and innovation!  My objective at TIG will be to help them grow and innovate by joining a team of exceptionally skilled and bright team members.  I specifically see opportunities in converged infrastructure, continued consumerization of IT with VDI/EUC, emerging flash storage, backup recovery/DR, cloud, and most importantly services.  I’m excited to bring my years of practice/business building, sales leadership, and vExpert/technical skills to TIG and can’t wait to get rolling!
